About us

About us
Capstone Behavioral Health is here to support individuals and families every step of the way on their journey toward healing, growth, and well-being. We proudly provide comprehensive mental health and substance use services in Omaha and Fremont, with no waitlist so you can access care when you need it most. Our caring team of therapists, psychologists, and social workers offers therapy for children, teens, adults, and families, as well as trauma-focused care, substance use treatment, and specialized programs such as DBT Skills Building Groups and Adult Level 1.5 Outpatient Treatment Groups.

We also provide psychological and autism evaluations, helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of their strengths, challenges, and unique needs. Services are available both in person and through secure teletherapy, using evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches tailored to each person's goals and circumstances.

Beyond traditional therapy, our community support programs empower clients to build stability, strengthen resilience, develop healthier relationships, and create lasting positive change for themselves and their families, including supporting reunification with their children when appropriate.

Mental Health Outpatient Therapy and Substance Use Evaluation Programs are funded up to 20% with state dollars, contracted from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services-Division of Behavioral Health and through Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare.

2025 Outcome Studies

Our 2025 Outcome Studies demonstrate our commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered behavioral health services. Performance measurement activities identified strengths in service effectiveness, timely access to care, person-served satisfaction, documentation compliance, and overall quality of services. Feedback from persons served reflected positive experiences with care, strong ratings related to appointment access and quality of care, and high levels of overall satisfaction. Clinical outcome data also demonstrated generally stable to improved functioning among individuals receiving services.

Building on these strengths, we will focus in 2026 on enhancing clinical outcome measurement, strengthening access and scheduling processes, improving telehealth support resources, expanding stakeholder engagement efforts, and supporting continued operational excellence. These initiatives reflect our commitment to continuous quality improvement and to meeting the evolving needs of the individuals, families, referral partners, and communities we serve.
