About us

About us
Daybreak Treatment Center of Tennessee provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for children and adolescents and their families. As the nation's first Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) recognized as a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified DBT Program™, Daybreak offers proven, evidence-based treatment designed to help young people and their families navigate complex mental health challenges. Our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors and educational specialists, develops individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.

Daybreak specializes in helping youth overcome challenges such as emotional dysregulation, impulsive or self-harming behaviors, anxiety, depression, family conflict, mood swings and school difficulties. Through a structured, supportive environment and the use of evidence-based therapies, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), we help children and teens build practical skills, strengthen coping strategies and work toward lasting emotional well-being.
